Upstate New York ambient drone artist Lattice was formed in the late Winter of 2009.
The music of Lattice is characterized by the combination of drone and the breaking down of traditional musical devices. The music is melodic, yet abstract and generative.
Influences include Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Stars of the Lid, William Basinski, Celer, Windy & Carl, Hammock, Belong and Eluvium.
Other influences include last.fm community artists such as Susperia-Electrica, Distant Fires Burning, Frags and Le Berger - among several others.
Songs in the Key of Glass was completed on October 21, 2009.
