Sigillum Dei is an ongoing experiment in recycled sound using found samples and environmental recordings to create intensely textured ambient drone-scapes.
No instruments are used in creating any Sigillum Dei piece.
The debut recording of Sigillum Dei's ambient soundscapes was released as a limited 2CD set in handmade packaging and was composed in its entirety from scraps of edited religious recordings, with no additional instrumentation.
